The Clipper 70s depart Freo!

After arriving in Freo at Fremantle Sailing Club late last week on the fourth leg of their Round the World In 11 Months Race, yesterday the 11 competing clippers paraded their wares in the inner harbour before an admiring crowd lining Victoria Quay.

Soon after, they departed Freo on a downwind, spinnaker start on the fifth leg of the race.

Here are the 11 clippers, all in a row, as the sailed out of the inner harbour towards North Mole where the race restarted.
