10 Nights ( and Days) Festival Happening Right Now!

The 10 Nights In Port Festival, incorporating Hidden Treasures is in full swing – it opened Thursday 10 and runs all around Freo through Sunday 20 August.

It is not all happening at night, there are also things to do during the day and they are free.

Idle Calm

Pop into a shipping container at the base of South Mole at the gravel carpark (1 Fleet Street is the closest address). Inside you can experience gothic-like photographic scenes of Walyalup’s coastline in winter while listening to immersive dark soundscapes via a headset.

The shipping container is a nod to Fremantle’s working port. The photographs in the container are fully exposed to the winter chill, sea spray and sounds of the ocean.

This event is free. Open 10am-4pm.

Walyalup Waters

Take a stroll along Bather’s Beach and submerge yourself in the salty spirit of Walyalup. On the beach, large panels display fabulous underwater photography. This is part of the Packenham Street Artspace exhibition.
This event is free. Open 10am – 4pm.
