Future Homes Expo ‘22

Housing is broken.

Who says so? The Sustainability Practioners Network says so, and they’re holding Future Homes Expo ‘22 on 4 December 2022 between 11 am and 4 pm in Bush Court, Murdoch University to share the word.

Sustainability practitioners aim to inspire and empower the community to make real and powerful changes to the way we shape the built environment and want to explain to you how a home can be cheap to keep comfortable, reduce social isolation and be close to work and community.

So, why don’t you get along and meet some of WA’s leading sustainability practitioners at the Expo who are creating world class examples of infill development and important resources to upskill the community and facilitate the uptake of these sustainability principles.

One of the sustainability practitioners, Keith Hutchings, kindly met with our editor, Michael Barker, to record the podcast that you’ll find below, where he explains what the concept of comfortable and sustainable housing is all about. It’s a great idea. We should all be doing it!
