Don’t Miss the 2018 Help the Homeless Art Auction.
The fabulous, annual Help the Homeless Art Auction, presented by Soroptimist International of Fremantle, is happening at 5pm Saturday 12 May at Fremantle Town Hall.
The Auction is a fantastic way to support critical services for the homeless – those who by a culmination of circumstances have found their lives devalued and their self-esteem lost.
The Auction provides a welcoming atmosphere for potential buyers. Now in its ninth year, the event has gained a reputation as a great night out with great art from $50 to $6000, ranging from ceramics and sculpture to original paintings and limited edition prints by wonderful artists.
And there’s chocolates! For the first time, the auctioneer will be randomly giving away chocolates to registered bidders throughout the Auction.
Help Soroptimist International of Fremantle to help fund homeless services: the Freo Street Doctor, The Starlight Hotel Choir (also performing on the night – members are homeless or at risk of being homeless), and Multicultural Future who provide crisis accommodation for migrants and refugees who are homeless or about to become homeless.
The Auction finishes at approximately 8.30pm and plenty of refreshments are provided.
As you can see form our photo gallery of the 2017 auction here, the night is a lot of fun. Be there!
