As Jean Hudson reports, No 5 is now here!
Viking Orion, the cruise festival’s fifth ship arrived at 9.30 yesterday morning from Bali.

It was a magnificent morning out on South Mole, blue skies, a light easterly and a flat sparkling ocean. The Orion docked in front of Amera at the Fremantle Passenger Terminal.
Viking Orion recently visited Fremantle during the first day of Oracle Perth Sail Grand Prix.
She is on a round-trip Grand Australia Circumnavigation from 27 February – 30 March 2026 for a total of 31 days.
Built in 2018, she can carry 930 passengers and is known for long in-port days, more exciting overnight key spots and few at-sea days. On this occasion she’s not staying very long in Fremantle, it’s a quick transit visit.
Viking Orion departs at 9 pm this evening for Busselton.
