Ships Happen – x 3 this weekend!

This weekend, Fremantle will welcome not ONE but THREE cruise ships: Arcadia, Silver Moon, and Azamara Pursuit. Our Shipping & Sailing Correspondent, Jean Hudson reports.

Arcadia is due to arrive at 6.30am on Saturday, February 14, and leave later at 7pm. She’s on a 99-days, round-trip Epic World Explorer. She left Southampton, UK on Jan 6, 2026. Passengers can do the round trip, join for the one way 45-day trip from UK to Melbourne, the 54-day return trip from Melbourne to Southampton, or the 26-days, one way from San Francisco to Southampton. She’s operated by P&O Cruises and last visited Fremantle in March 2020, after a revised itinerary at the beginning of COVID.

Silver Moon is due to arrive at 7am on Saturday, February 14, and leave on Sunday, February 15 at 12.30pm. Silver Moon, a Silversea Muse-class cruiser visited Freo in November 2025. She’s on a 10-day one-way cruise from Melbourne to Fremantle and then on a 9-day one-way to Singapore.

Azamara Pursuit is due to arrive at 8am on Sunday,February 15, and leave the following day Monday, February 16 at 3pm. This ship has been a regular visitor in recent years. She’s on a 15-day one-way cruise from Sydney to Bali.

Each ship will bring its own distinctive vibe, from Arcadia’s older classic elegance to Silver Moon’s luxury and the charm of Azamara Pursuit.
