Our Shipping Correspondent Jean Hudson has taken ‘annual leave’ from the Shipping News, but you wouldn’t know it. She has just sent this despatch from Split, Croatia, a city well known to many of our Freo readers. Jean says:
Split was quiet until Celebrity Constellation and Queen Victoria arrived today bringing over 5000 passengers to town. Several European cities beginning to introduce a visitor’s visa with a fee!
Overcrowding is a problem Fremantle would probably like to have, well, perhaps…
