Floating off the Fremantle coast – Four Cruise Ships
Vessel finding apps show that as of 11.20 today, Wednesday 25 March 2020, there are four cruise ships either anchored in Gage Roads or not far away.
One can only assume they don’t know where to go or their owners don’t know where to send them; or there are other Covid reasons for them lingering.
The ships in Gauge Roads are The World, which was tied up in Port most of last week, Seabourn Encore and Artania, these last two not having entered Port st any time to our recollection.
The fourth is the MSC Magnifica which left Port after refuelling but now seems to be sitting off Yanchep.
Interesting times for cruise ships.
