Freo this midsummer morning – In pictures

So, it’s a midsummer morning in Fremantle, business owners readying themselves for the day, local cafes and coffee shops slowly opening again after a summer break, visitors out early for breakfast, locals peddling to their favourite coffee haunts for their morning starters, construction workers on site busily constructing, crane operators lording it over them, Notre Dame students still sleeping but a few of their teachers rushing to meetings, dog walkers dog walking, the sun shining, street folk enjoying the good weather. Such a wonderful time to be in Freo.

On the basis of the old adage, sometimes attributed to Confucius – not Shakespeare on this occasion – that a picture is worth a thousand words, here’s our 30,000 word pictorial essay on Freo this morning!

And here are the rest!

Enjoy the ‘read’!
