Princess changes her mind – again!

Well folks, it seems the Coral Princess has a mind of her own.

If you rely on Marine Traffic to give you up to date info, and they of course are reliant on vessels to do the same, Coral Princess is sitting pretty somewhere off Exmouth and hasn’t moved for a day or so.

Coral Princess arriving in Brisbane earlier this year

Then we were told yesterday the Princess would tie up in Fremantle tonight, Thursday at around 9.30 pm.

We are now advised, first thing this morning, she is back to her original arrival time.

The Coral Princess will now see the Pilot on board at 5.30am tomorrow, Friday, and will tie up at the Passenger Terminal in Victoria Quay at 6.30 am.

It’s a pity really as evening photographs can be spectacular! But still, so are morning shots of big cruise ships passing through North and South Moles and manoeuvring in the Inner Harbour.

The changed schedule means the cruiser will now depart Freo at 5 pm, Friday.

This is of course good news for Fremantle Ports because, as we reported yesterday, there will be no Covid affected large cruise ship tied up at the Passenger Terminal when the BIG Maritime Day celebrations begin at 10 am Saturday morning.

If you can’t be at the Quay at 6-6.30 Friday to see the Princess arrive, you can at least get there to see her leave in the arvo.

If you can’t do either, don’t panic. Fremantle Shipping News will bring you all the news and pics of her arrival and departure.

Remember, she’s the first large cruise ship to arrive in Fremantle since Covid!

Do you remember 20 April 2020, the day the Artania departed?

Ah, Covid!
