Hannah Fitzhardinge was elected Mayor of Fremantle last October. So she’s now been in the job 100 + 40 days or so.
Hannah kindly agreed to meet with our editor, Michael Barker, to discuss how she’s finding being Mayor; Walyalup Civic Centre; central Freo; just what’s going on with the much-hyped but recently-canned (excusing the pun) Victoria Quay film studio project; what’s happening north of Fremantle harbour in the proposed redevelopment area; anti vaxxers; what else Freo plans in the next little while to keep its residents and ratepayers happy; and what she hopes Freo may look like in say 3 years time.
