A Little Freo Street Art – Woolstores

Some people don’t know about Cantonment Street in Freo. It’s one of our favourites!

It makes a good walk, from Market Street right through to Parry.

Just past Elder Place, on your left, Portside, is the old apparently derelict Woolstores red brick building.

Fortunately, it’s not entirely unoccupied as street artists have taken possession of it’s external bits and adorned it with stuff that could fill an entire Ph D dissertation. Perhaps it already has?

Anyway, our roving photojournalist David Smyth has sent in this despatch with pics.

Writes David:
‘I like this Straker skate board artwork down by the Woolstores and was pleased to get this shot without the defacing “tag” that was on it until recently.’
