Mike is a guy who everyone in Freo seems to know, or know of, and recognize as he cycles or strolls past. He’s a bit lanky, has a disarming smile and knows nearly all there is to be known about Freo. So much so he has become The Tour Guide To Kings when reigning monarchs visit Fremantle! Mike’s family roots in Freo go back to the earliest days, to John Septimus Roe, the City’s first town planner. He’s also a writer. And a storyteller. Make yourself a cuppa, turn on this audio interview, put up your feet and listen to Mike’s story!
