This morning, Monday 13 October 2025, Fremantle welcomed back the Crown Princess – fresh from northern waters and ready to begin her next adventure. She’s on a transit visit, so by this evening, she’ll be sailing out again, embarking on an 11-night Southern Australia Explorer cruise bound for Busselton, Albany, Adelaide, Melbourne, Hobart, and Sydney.

By way of further info, Crown Princess –
- Is operated by Bob Wood Tours
- Has 2245 guests
- Of whom 681 are disembarking into Freo
- With 798 embarking from Freo
- And she boasts 1148 crew.
We’ve welcomed Crown Princess to Freo a few times now, since her maiden voyage here 6 November last. Here are our posts celebrating her recent Freo calls.
It’s a double act worth celebrating: Fremantle as both gracious host and proud departure point. We’re not just a stop on the map – we’re a city with character, history, and a knack for turning arrivals into occasions.
To those disembarking: welcome to a town where the coffee’s strong, the Portuguese tarts are delicious and the stories are richer, and the sea breeze carries a hint of mischief, especially as the weather gets warmer!
To those boarding: enjoy the cruise, and remember where your journey began!
To the rest of us: let’s raise a toast to Fremantle’s growing role on the cruise circuit – especially with the home-porting of Princess Cruises’ Sapphire Princess from Fremantle in late 2027 – and maybe wave from the South Mole as she sails at around 6 pm this evening.
