Gerry’s Gold Update!

Don’t miss this great Saturday afternoon Freo neighbourhood music event. Take the family. Round up your friends. Or just go along as a random loner!

We recently let you know all about the Gerry’s Gold Laneway Music Event happening this Saturday afternoon just off Chalmers Street from 3 pm.

There’s a few updates you might like to note.

Organiser Michael Tucak advises that –

Doors open 3pm

Timetable
o 3:00 – 3:30 Xalur
o 3:40 – 4:10 Penny Lane
o 4:20 – 4:50 Mike Weise Trio
o 5:05 – 5:55 Kim Salmon (solo)
o 6:10 – 7:05 Emily Barker (w Luke Dux on guitar)
o 7:15 – 7:55 Adele Oliver

Michael also says if people are helping election candidates on the day, the organisers have a 50% discount code for them (they just need to message Mike Knight or him on social media and they can provide it). Nice!

There have also been some lineup changes since our earlier post. Adele Oliver (from Broome) is taking George Siciliano’s spot, as George has to go to Melbourne. Adele is currently on an extensive SW WA run of dates (Nannup Music Festival last weekend, Friday 7th) and has just released a new single “Home Tonight” (which is a cracker!), so Adele will be bringing her alt-country and down to earth style to close out the event (but, it is quite likely there will be a bonus bit of music to kick on with afterwards!)

What a great thing to do after you’ve voted – East Freo Primary School is also a Polling Place, just a block from the Lane!

Details also here on Facebook – which is also where you can message the Mikes about the ‘Democratic Discount’!

And importantly here’s where to book your tix on Humanitix.

Be there or be square!
