The creative force behind the Loving Place Fremantle project, Grant Revell, has a wonderful background in town and regional planning and landscape design.
Grant was taught by and influenced by the work of the pathfinding George Seddon, author of the seminal 1972 book, Sense of Place.
Grant has recently embarked upon the Loving Place Fremantle project, which he says ‘is a curious arts project that takes on the community challenge of knowing and sharing Walyalup-Fremantle as a loving place. A special place that for many is now at the cross roads of uncertainty and despair as it chooses to expand and develop its waterfronts and surrounding landscapes.’
Our editor, Michael Barker, was pleased to catch up with Grant Revell this week to make this podcast discussing Grant’s background and what has led him to formulate and undertake the ambitious Loving Place Fremantle project.
