Bob Williams is a most interesting guy.
Plainly, Bob’s mind is in a constant state of motion.
Bob was born in Melbourne, Victoria and has lived all over the world, including here in Western Australia, the Middle East, the UK and the Far East, before returning to Australia. He now lives in Fremantle.
Bob is well known for being the construction inspiration behind the Harry Seidler classic QV1 office tower in St George’s Terrace, Perth, WA.
He has sailed fast maxi yachts, and even owned a basketball team – the champion Perth Wildcats.
On top of that Bob is an artist who has exhibited in New York by invitation.
And he’s written a book about all this and so much more.
And just when one might have thought Bob was content to tend to the roses, he started up a wonderful jigsaw business that he now runs with with his son, Chris, called Mr Bob Puzzles!
Bob Williams kindly agreed to sit down with our editor, Michael Barker, to discuss his fascinating life’s endeavours in a podcast, and what he would advise his 20 year old self!
