The Cruisers are back – well, not all and not immediately!

Before Covid, the Port of Fremantle regularly saw large, small, in betweens, cute, amazing, legendary, you name it, cruise liners tying up, embarking and disembarking ‘guests’ at Victoria Quay.

Covid of course put an end to all that, but the cruisers are on their way back – though not all of them, and not immediately.

Here’s the current Fremantle Ports listing of cruise ship returns for later this year and early next year.

A number of these vessels are the smaller expeditionary type that will find their way up and down our Kimberley coast at the height of the season.

But a few of the bigger ones, including the Queen Elizabeth, will find their way here too.

To get you ready, and to remind you of what a spectacle the arrival in Port of a cruise ship can be, here’s a fabulous gallery of cruise ships that visited Freo between October 2017 and February 2019.

In order of the dates they arrived in Port, they are: Costa Luminosa March 2017; Voyager of the Seas October 2017; Ovation of the Seas November 2017; Astor January 2018; Azamara Journey January 2018; Queen Mary 2 February 2018; Grand World Voyage February 2018; Celebrity Solstice March 2018; Astor March 2018; Golden Princess March 2018; Sun Princess April 2018; Aida AURA December 2018; Queen Elizabeth February 2019; Amadea February 2019; Crystal Serenity February 2019.

Enjoy!
