Graeme Henderson should be known as The Shipwreck Detective! He discovered the whereabouts of the Gilt Dragon off the WA coast when he was a 16 year old lad, and in a life spent searching for other wrecks has encountered many. His work life was consumed by chasing and preserving shipwrecks with the WA Museum and the Maritime Museum in Fremantle, where he was Director. Graeme also writes regularly about the shipwrecks to be found in Australian waters and, in a not for profit, he keeps hunting down shipwrecks in foreign waters. Graeme can also imagine a Far West End of Freo dedicated to all things maritime. Hear Graeme’s compelling story and his vision right here …
