Professor Peter Newman AO is extremely well known in Fremantle for his passion about our port city. In the 70s he was a councillor on the City Council. He has been here through Freo’s various waves of change. He has grown up a family here. He has had much to say publicly about our town. He is also well know in WA, Australia and internationally for his groundbreaking work in transport and sustainability policy. Listen to him wax lyrical about Fremantle but also about how we can make Freo an even more sustainable city into the future.
