Silver Dawn Docks Darwin

We see all sorts of vessels arriving in Fremantle Port, but hardly spare a thought for them after they depart – and rarely enquire whether they arrived at wherever they were apparently headed.

Well, just to show we are actually interested and to prove they do arrive where they say they are going, Jean Hudson, our peripatetic Shipping & Sailing Editor, snapped this snappy snap of Silver Dawn in Darwin on Saturday.

Jean reports ‘Silver Cloud docked at Fort Hill Wharf, Darwin, NT, having arrived on 5 September 2026, wrapping up a 17-day expedition from Freo.’
