Freo Mens Community Shed, as part of their 20th year of operation, are holding an OPEN DAY this Sunday 16 November between 9am -1pm at 70 Shepherd Street, Beaconsfield.

If you have been too nervous to ask what they do at a Men’s Shed, here’s your chance quietly, even furtively, to find out for yourself!
Freo’s Shed was the first Men’s Shed in Metro WA and has been the model for many more around the State. (There are now over 180!)
With 350 members, 75 of them women, the Open Day is an opportunity to see what is available in “Shedland”, including, just to name a few –
*wood and metal work
*art and drawing group
*music jam sessions*
*leadlight and stained glass sessions
*copper foiling
*gardens,
*guest speaker evenings.
The Open Day will feature –
*Tools and products sale
*Shed members Art Display
*Shed Tours
*Unique activities for kids
*Artisan Stalls
*Live music
*Food and drinks.
And – you can join in the raffle to win a 12 month Shed membership.
