The Freo Running Festival ROAD CLOSURES

Freo folk will have seen the notices up and down Marine Terrace from Cliff Street in the West End to Capo D’Orlando Drive, South Freo advising that this Sunday, 9 November 2025, the Fremantle Running Festival is on, and that restrictions apply in some areas, like sections of Marine Terrace, from 8 am Saturday.

Indeed, the takeaway message for residents near Marine Terrace and visitors to Freo on both Saturday and Sunday, is that Marine Terrace in particular from Cliff to Capo D’Orlando will be submpject to restrictions and on Sunday will be totally closed off to traffic between 4.30 am until 11 am. So you need to make alternative access arrangements.
