As we have reported, the Old Fremantle Traffic Bridge houses telecommunications, water and gas services that need to be removed and relocated. Three new pipelines (one telecommunication and two water) will be installed under the riverbed to accommodate the new services.

TYDEMAN ROAD: STIRLING HIGHWAY TO NAPIER ROAD
Monday 8 July to Friday 12 July. 6pm-6am nightly:
Closure of the left turn slip lane from Queen Victoria Street onto Tydeman Road. Left turn access maintained at the traffic signals.
Closure of the far-left turn lane from Stirling Highway to Tydeman Road.
Closure of the left lane on Tydeman Road from Stirling Highway to Napier Road. Access maintained to North Fremantle homes.
No right turn from Queen Victoria Street northbound onto Tydeman Road. No changes to PTA bus services.

Shared path south of Tydeman Road closed. Pedestrian and cyclist access via the path on the northern side of the road (green route on map).

QUEEN VICTORIA STREET, BETWEEN CANNING HIGHWAY AND SWAN STREET
Monday 8 July to Friday 12 July
7pm-5am nightly: Fremantle Traffic Bridge closed.
Use Stirling Highway to travel between North Fremantle and Fremantle.
Pedestrian and cyclist access maintained.
No changes to PTA bus services – buses can travel through the bridge worksite.

NOTICE OF UPCOMING TRAFFIC CHANGES
Road users are to expect the upcoming traffic changes during July for service relocation works. More information will be provided prior to implementation.

Road users are encouraged to plan ahead, allow additional travel time, follow all traffic management directions and drive carefully through the area. To minimise disruption to residents, businesses and road users, road modifications will be removed as soon as possible.
