The amazing Impact100 Fremantle campaign is underway for 2024, and going strong.
Having already raised $62,000, the campaign is just 38 donors short of the $100,000 target!
If you are new to what Impact100 Fremantle is all about, you can learn more right here!
In short, it’s a collective giving initiative that gathers 100 private donors – individuals, groups or businesses – to each contribute a minimum of $1,000 and then pool the $100,000+ raised to make a high impact grant to a not-for-profit charitable organisation that does great things around Freo.
In essence, it involves a community getting proactive, ‘looking after its own’ and not relying on welfare or Government funding. In a word philanthropic!
Donor involvement and learning is a rich and rewarding part of Impact100 Fremantle.
Over the last 10 years of Impact100 Fremantle, over $1.1 million has been raised and granted to vital charities delivering services and programs in the Fremantle area.
If you are an organisation addressing important social needs in the Freo area, this is a great opportunity to receive a game-changing grant.
Applications for Impact100 Fremantle open Friday April 26 and close Friday 19 July. So it’s time to start preparing your application.
We strongly recommend before you do so that you have a chat with our Volunteer Committee to assist you with your application. You can talk over ideas you have with them, any obstacles you think are in the way, or simply to get tips on the whole process from previous years experience.
As to the process, following close of applications, a shortlist of applicants is selected on 5 August.
Then Impact100 Freo donors get to visit your organisation’s site between 12-30 August to learn more about what you do.
The Finalists are announced on 10 September.
Then the all important Awards Night will be held on 25 October, and the Winner announced.
