According to the owner, as the fire and smoke had reduced and the temperature of the hull decreased in some places, she was towed from the accident site to a safe anchorage. It is understood from the ship owner and Dutch Authorities that the new site is 16km North of Schiermonnikoog and Ameland.

However, the final location for towing has not yet been confirmed.
