Jodie Ransom docks in Freo

Fremantle Ports CEO Michael Parker today announced Jodie Ransom has commenced as General Manager Operations. Jodie bring decades of maritime industry experience to Fremantle Ports.

Ms Ransom joins Fremantle Ports from her role as General Manager, West (covering Western Australia, Northern Territory and Papua New Guinea) at towage company Svitzer Australia.

“Fremantle Ports will benefit greatly from Jodie’s knowledge and experience gained during her impressive career over the past three decades. Jodie began as a seafarer with BHP Transport before progressing into management, operational, commercial and supply chain roles, including with MUR Shipping Australia, Jebsens Australia and CBH Group,” Mr Parker said.

“As a leader in her field Ms Ransom has a strong reputation, including as a previous member of the Freight and Logistics Council of Western Australia and also having served on the board of the Kimberley Port Authority. Jodie holds formal qualifications in leadership and the marine industry”.

Ms Ransom’s appointment completes Fremantle Ports’ Executive Leadership Team.
