View from the Round House with Martin Drum – The Co-Minister

Welcome back to our politics podcast, View From The Round House With Martin Drum.

Well, what a week it’s been. Last week the Prof and his interlocutor thought they might have little to talk about today, but as they say, a week is a long time in politics. And the former PM, now an exceedingly humble MP, Scott Morrison came to our aid.

Since he did, all we’ve all talked about, incessantly, are the political ethics and the constitutional lawfulness of co-Ministers and especially co-Ministers appointed under a veil of secrecy. Is that the Australian way of doing things?

In this podcast, the Shipping News’ editor, Michael Barker asks Professor Martin Drum his answer to that seminal question, among other local and international issues of the moment.

Martin Drum is Professor of Politics and International Relations at Notre Dame University, Fremantle and a well know political pundit.
