Fremantle Arts Centre are ready to launch into a massive weekend.
Straight off, San Cisco are playing two sold-out shows across Friday and Saturday nights.
They’ll be joined by special guest Stella Donnelly and emerging R&B artist Adrian Dzvuke.
Then Sunday Music will be filled with the always popular sounds of Galloping Foxleys – half country, half blues and all fun! The event runs 2–4 pm on shaded slopes of the South Lawn. Entry is free.
All this followed by the news that, after 28 years of singing and touring as one-third of The Waifs, Vikki Thorn is set to play a very special gig at The Arts Centre on Friday 20 November.
Renowned for her powerful vocals and unique blues harp playing, Thorn is a dynamic and passionate performer. Her songs weave through country and blues and slightly sidestep away from the folk format of The Waifs to indulge her love of the old R&B singing style. Not a show to miss.
Tickets on sale now. Head toFremantle Arts Centre website.
Also – next weekend Artists in Residence are opening their studio doors. Running 1–5 pm on Sunday 8 November – explore the Arts Centre’s iconic building, meet some of the current artists and find out what they’re creating! Sounds good.
