St Patrick’s Basilica in Adelaide Street, Freo is always a great venue to hear Hans Hug’s Fremantle Chamber Orchestra performing under John Keene conductor and, at the next concert , Ellie Malonzo on violin premiering her own composition – Concerto for Violin and Viola 2 and with Paul Wright on viola.

Here’s the program.

And here are FCO director Hans Hug’s notes on the concert –

Mozart: K247 “Lodron”: Adagio: magic Mozart
Svendsen: Romance: tender romanticism at its best
Malonzo: Concerto for Violin & Viola 2: WORLD PREMIERE
