No, not for the candidates in the Freo Council elections, but for the Finalists in the 2025 Fremantle Chamber of Commerce Business Awards! Now it’s over to you, Freo Public, to cast your votes.

The wait is over – the finalists for the 2025 Fremantle Chamber of Commerce Business Awards have been revealed, and now it’s up to the people of Freo to decide who will take home the crown.

After a record-breaking nomination round, this year’s finalists showcase the very best of Fremantle across food, retail, tourism, creative industries, sustainability, wellness and more.

From beloved foodie favourites and ocean innovators to creative trailblazers, wellness warriors and long-standing local legends, the 2025 finalists embody everything that makes Fremantle so distinctive.

Fremantle Chamber of Commerce CEO, Chrissie Maus, said the announcement of finalists is always a highlight of the Awards season:

“Our finalists represent the grit, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit that makes Fremantle such a vibrant community. The people of Freo have spoken loud and clear in nominations, and now they get to decide who takes the trophy home. These businesses are more than just finalists – they’re the heart of our city”.

With $45,000 worth of prizes ($3,000 marketing package per winner), industry recognition and ultimate Fremantle bragging rights on the line, the competition is fierce.

Fremantle Mayor Hannah Fitzhardinge observed how Freo rallied behind its businesses last year and added:

“The City is proud to continue our support in 2025, as the major sponsor of this incredible celebration of Fremantle’s business community. These awards go beyond the sparkle of the trophy, they’re a powerful recognition of the passion, grit and creativity that local businesses pour into our city every day.

“It’s one of the key ways the City backs the people and places that make Fremantle so distinctive.”

Voting is now officially open and will close at 12:00pm, Friday 3 October 2025. Just for voting you could be in the draw to win $150 of “Freo Cash”.

Winners will be revealed at the Fremantle Business Awards Gala (affectionately known as “The Frogies”) on Thursday 9 October 2025 at the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle.
