In our recent article They’re Off And Racing In The 2025 Freo LGA Stakes, we introduced you to all the candidates standing for Mayor and Ward Councillor positions on Fremantle Council at the upcoming October elections.
We have invited all candidates to be interviewed by our Editor in a getting-to-know-you podcast format explaining why they are running.
Fourth candidate out of the barrier is Mark Woodcock, who is standing for both Mayor and, in the event he doesn’t win that contest, also for the office of Councillor in the North Ward. In the Mayoral contest Mark is up against Ben Lawver, Hannah Fitzhardinge, Marija Vujcic and Jenny Archibald. In North Ward the others standing are Tyler Ray, Melanie Clark, and PJ Yates.

FYI, here’s Mark’s Profile as filed by him with his official nomination for Mayor, which is substantially the same as the Profile filed with his nomination for the North ward Councillor office.

And you’ll find our podcast interview with Mark below.
