BeerFest Fremantle 2024

Fremantle BeerFest gets bigger and better each year. The festival ran over the weekend just gone, from Friday night to Sunday afternoon at Fremantle’s fab Esplanade Park.

This year had a massive line up of the biggest names in WA breweries, distilleries, cideries and wineries —300+. There was Craft Beer, Cider, Wine and Cocktails — something for every palate.

The sun shone for the bustling and fun event. Tents and stalls had colourful banners and streamers and amazing graphic art.

Festival goers wandered about, glasses in hand. The air was alive with the hum of lively chatter – attendees of all ages mingled and laughed together. And the beer flowed.

There wasn’t a lederhosen or drindl in sight – instead lots of festival gear; one couple clad in sunnies and matching co-ords set stole the show.

There was live music, a DJ, comedy shows and Master Classes on beer and food pairing.

Pro wrestlers from EPW Perth put on a dazzling performance with a blend of athleticism, theatrics and storytelling. High flying leaps from the top ropes and thunderous floor slams captivated the crowd.

If you missed this year’s festival, put it in your diary for next year and sip the best of the west!
