Fremantle Ports, otherwise known as the Port Authority, is sponsoring a Big Day Out at Victoria Quay on Saturday , 14 March 2020.
The Queen Mary 2 will be in Port that day, pulling out at 6 pm. She’s not a sight to be missed, especially when turning around in the inner harbour readying herself for the thrill of the Indian Ocean.
More to the point, though, there’s money to be won for those of you who can paint and photograph things at the Port, or in or on it.
As the array of poster that accompany this story explain, you can submit your work in advance of the day, and/or do a painting at the Port on the day or take a photograph on the day and still win a prize.
Be in it or be square!
