In response to many requests Fremantle Theatre Company commenced acting classes for 15-18 year olds this year. And then they did the same for adults.
The upcoming performance, Horror on High Street, is the culmination of a year’s work for all the students.
The classes have been led by Hermione Gehle, with Renato Fabretti and Mischa Ipp teaching some of the adult classes. In the second half of the year, Hermione began to bring the two classes together to create this show.
Hermione says “After a truly amazing year with our talented and dedicated students, we invite you to celebrate them at this spooktacular event. Our youth and adult ensembles have joined forces to curate a wonderful selection of scary, sometimes funny and yet slightly disturbing monologues, short scenes and even a mini play from award winning playwrights around the world to create this thrilling witches brew of a show for you. We can’t wait to share these macabre stories and showcase some of the best local talent in town. We hope you enjoy this delightfully strange tapestry of tales as much as we have enjoyed creating it!”
For a great night out, get along to the show and have dinner in Fremantle either before or afterwards! And support the next generation of actors.
Tickets are $15 adults and $10 students and concessions. And you can buy at the door or prebook right here.
