Changed parking arrangements at Victoria Quay over Christmas

Here’s the map just issued by Fremantle Ports showing where you can and can’t park near the ferry pick ups at Victoria Quay from this Friday 22 December until 2 January.

You’ll see the benefit of these arrangements is that there is a designated drop off zone adjacent to E Shed where people can drop passengers close to the ferry terminal. Fremantle Ports hope this will help the logjam folk experienced last year.

Fremantle Ports have also opened the TAFE carpark to assist those who will bring their cars, although the focus is really on travelling sustainably, and the free public transport by bus and train to Freo from 24 December until 28 January should help as well.
