Very chic, very Festivus!

Peta Miller recently had a fab, well-attended exhibition at the Terrace Greenhouse & Gallery, 223 South Terrace, South Freo that was focused on the Port and in particular the old cranes behind the Maritime Museum and the one that used to be near B Shed once upon a time.

We at the Shipping News loved Peta’s bright, bold, vibrant colours and the oh, so Freo scenes!

Turns out, as many of our readers and her fans will already know, Peta has been photographing the cranes for years and really enjoyed finally getting them on canvas.

And now she has reproduced many of her paintings in a 2024 calendar and in the form of beautiful cards.

Here’s a gallery of some of the scenes you’ll get to see in the calendar and on the cards.

So, if you are looking for the perfect Christmas gift for that hard-to-buy-for friend or mother, you couldn’t do better than buy one or two this festive season. Or Festivus, as Jerry Seinfeld termed it!

You’ll find what you are after at the Terrace Greenhouse & Gallery, as well as at New Editions bookstore in High Street, Freo, and at ‘Found‘ at Fremantle Arts Centre.

Or you can email Peta at petajmiller@hotmail.com and place your order or visit her at her studio.
