Are you ready for the 24th Lilly Street Lasagna Bake-off?

Yep, it’s that time of the year again!

Saturday, 19 November 2022 heralds the 24th Lilly St Lasagna Bake-off.

Already there is talk up and down the streets of Freo, it’s true!

Talk of prize-winning recipes with exotic ingredients and mysterious processes designed to pip everyone else at the post and deliver the most outstanding lasagna on the day.

As usual there are four categories ranging from traditional through to wild and wacky, so everyone has a chance of winning no matter what they create or how they present it.

This year’s theme is beach party, so the organisers are encouraging everyone to pimp their tents with everything BEACH – and, of course, it’ll be a beautiful sunny South Freo day for the Bake-off.

It is really like a great big street picnic, BUT NOTE no food or drinks are sold on the day.

You are, however, encouraged to sidle up to an award-winning table and slip a small plate in front of the lasagna makers to get a portion of their offerings! You are guaranteed to get a fabulous slice of deliciousness.
