TETHERED, a wonderful solo exhibition by Robert Boulden (KVT), is now showing at the new Doghouse Gallery, 253 South Terrace, South Fremantle.
Rob paints in acrylics in a bold, colourful style. Much of his work in this exhibition is inspired by his adopted Vietnamese grandson.
The exhibition is also the result of Rob’s being tethered in South Fremantle by covid since 2020 and untethered from Hanoi, his FIFO base since 2020.
The paintings are tethered at The Doghouse until Sunday, May 8.
The artist has a most interesting backstory and our editor, Michael Barker, was pleased to sit down and have a yarn with Rob about his work, the Vietnam connection, KVT, the paintings in the exhibition, and more besides.
