BREAKING NEWS – We hear the State Government has agreed to splurge part of its $8 billion dollar budget surplus on buying one of the RUSSIAN OLIGARCHS’ SUPER YACHTS presently tied up in the Maldives and awaiting sale by the receivers?

The plan isn’t altogether final yet, we are told, but it seems it is to moor the valuable vessel off Elizabeth Quay one week, and in Victoria Quay the next, and to make it available on weekends for hire for parties, weddings, anything really, and on weekdays for use as the State Cabinet Office/VIP Banquet Room.
