ECU’s, Edith Cowan University’s Kurongkurl Katitjin confirm that we are currently – during February and March – in the Noongar Season ‘Bunuru’, which is represented by the colour orange and is the hottest time of the year with little to no rain. Hot easterly winds continue with a cooling sea breeze most afternoons – if you’re close to the coast. Like around Freo. And as folk head to the coast for cooling breezes and a dip, do they go empty handed?
