Emily Barker, Mark Holdsworth, Brad Rimmer!

Freo Today. 16 February 2026. Yesterday, a beautiful Sunday saw Freo folk out and about enjoying the day. A good number were at Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre for the always special Sunday Music. Yesterday, Emily Barker performed outside WFAC with friends and band and drew attention to Brad Rimmer’s fab photographic exhibition inside WFAC titled Loom of the Land. The photo exhibition pays homage to country town halls in the central Wheatbelt region ofWestern Australia. If you know towns like Wylie, Tammin, Kunno, Bencubbin, North Baandee, Trayning and so on, you will especially love the photographs. Quite majestic. And the exhibition also includes a great video of Emily Barker performing music and songs composed by her with Mark Holdsworth at the invitation of Brad Rimmer that respond to his photographs. Great idea. Great exhibition. Get along soon. It runs through 19 April.
