Another day at the Port!

Freo Today. 17 February 2026. Chinese New Year starts today. The Year of the Horse. Yesterday, though, was just another day at the Port. That’s the Express Black Sea container ship on the left, the Kota Lambai container ship on the right, and the Sealink Rottnest Island ferry, Capricornia Sunrise, sliding in between them. Express Black Sea sails under the flag of Malta and is in from Singapore and tomorrow will!sail for Port Klang. Kota Lambai sails under the flag of Singapore and is in from Port Klang, Malaysia. She departed in the early hours today for Sydney. Capricornia Sunrise has an easier life ferrying lots of excited folk between Freo and Rotto so many days a week and times a day!
