Freo Today. 23 October 2025. Freo has lots of quirky hole-in-the-wall cafes, some tucked away in laneways off the beaten track. Bodhi’s Bakehouse has a hidden gem/nook feel. It’s tucked away on Ellen Street. Bodhi Bakery has produced ultra healthy artisan breads since 1981. Pic by Jean Hudson
