Last Saturday night, innocent South Freo folk, out on their evening constitutional in Atwell Street, were confronted with quite frightening scenes.
Fortunately, our off-duty photographer was strolling by at the time and captured these chilling photographs of the scene.
On further inquiry we discovered it was Halloween and these kids and their parents were quite content to mingle with these even stranger creatures, to be found on the veranda of the house where all this was unfolding, handing out tricks or treats.
By all reports, everyone had a fab time and, indeed, enjoyed themselves!
