Big Beacy Residential Land Sale Underway!

First residential lots for sale at the former Beaconsfield TAFE. This really is a big deal. Congrats to all concerned for making it happen!

The first residential lots at the former Beaconsfield TAFE site are now on the market, with DevelopmentWA launching the initial release of 25 single residential lots at the new Marisol at Lefroy estate. Prices start from $362,500, with lots ranging from 173 to 427 square metres.

The 3.8‑hectare Marisol development will deliver up to 155 homes and forms part of the wider Lefroy redevelopment, which also includes the adjacent 10.2‑hectare Kinway at Lefroy precinct. Together, the two projects will ultimately provide up to 700 new homes, including apartments, with up to 20 per cent allocated to social and affordable housing.

Kinway at Lefroy will regenerate the Davis Park precinct and deliver a new neighbourhood centre at South Street and Fifth Avenue, planned to include retail and residential uses.

Planning and Lands Minister John Carey said yesterday the release marked a major milestone in the long‑term renewal of the former TAFE site, following extensive remediation and demolition works. Fremantle MLA Simone McGurk said the transformation of the area was progressing well and would deliver new homes in a well‑connected community.

The “offers from” process closes at 5pm on Monday, 15 June 2026 (WST).
