Totally Lit – The Week 1 Diary

By Gayle O’Leary

So much to do, so much to see at Totally Lit (and a couple side hustles). Where to start?

Tuesday night – Two Men Walk Into a Bar (Richard King and David Whish-Wilson launching their new books)
Wednesday – Yarning Manjaree with Marie Taylor
Flash Fiction Featured on Facade: Freo Ports
Old Customs House Edge of the Wedge Ceramics Extravaganza
Wednesday (continued) – Barefaced Stories
Thursday night – Flash Fizz by Laura Keenan and featuring astonishing writers, including Gillian O’Shaughnessy!
Thursday (continued) – To Whom It May Concern (letters of complaint, including acerbic observations of dogs in prams, airbnb guests, and corporate shorts)
Friday – Chilli Jam (not quite part of the Totally Lot Festival but very much in keeping with the spirit of it)

Saturday… an interlude to go see a show in Northbridge instead. Leg Business. Brilliant! Did I get a photo? Sadly no.

Sunday – If These Walls Could Talk (What The Would Say) featuring Matthew Crawford (Architect), Gena Binet (Heritage Architect), Tim Buckton (Director Hospitality), and Sarah Booth (Spacemarket) at Emily Taylor restaurant within the former convict precinct of Fremantle

That’s all from one week! Wowee!

Plenty more events to attend over the next seven days. Here’s Sharon Flindell’s teaser for what’s happening at Totally Lit in Week 2.
