We all know, don’t we, that in early January 2026, just over three months away, the Old Fremantle Traffic Bridge will be closed for good and then, 12 months later, hopefully in late 2026, the flash, new Freo Traffic Bridge will be opened?
(Wonder whether it will be Rita or Roger who cuts the ribbon, or the PM or his stand-in Josh – or all three perhaps?)
As we prepare for this, Main Roads WA and their people continue to be busy doing a range of works that mess with access to the Old Bridge and nearby road systems.
