Our Galleries of the ‘Stealthiest Warship in the US Navy’ AKA Ocean Trader

There’s a lot of chatter about the Ocean Trader/US Special Ops warship just now around the globe and what she’s up to in the Caribbean and roundabout.

But what does this vessel really look like?

It seems Fremantle Shipping News has some of the very best images of the ‘Stealthiest Warship’ going round and we are pleased to share them here with interested readers the world over.

The pics are from ship’s December 2022 visit to Fremantle, where she was tied up on Victoria Quay for a few days, and from her subsequent brief visit in March 2023, before she departed for the last time.

The pics in this first gallery were snapped by Freo resident John Hartley and show the ship’s arrival and departure in December 2022. Beautiful detailed shots.

The pics in this gallery were taken by our Editor, Michael Barker, in December 2022.

This image was captured by our Jean Hudson in March 2023.

Jean Hudson first captured this distant image of Ocean Trader lurking off Fremantle in Gage Roads, more or less by coincidence, while snapping the black swan at Leighton Beach, near Fremantle, before our Editor discovered Ocean Trader lurking in the background! But that’s what Ocean Trader does!

Enjoy!
