As the first light of dawn broke this morning, Coral Adventurer was nowhere in sight.
But I waited and eventually the small, cute, 120 guest-max cruise ship slipped through North and South Moles around 7 am.

Then she loomed larger as she arrived in the inner harbour near the Maritime Museum and the resting de-masted Leeuwin.
And then she headed off to her berth with a few guests keeping watch as she glided past. Here are some more pics.
She’s no stranger to Fremantle and visits regularly each year, as these Shipping News posts show.
Launched in 2019, Coral Adventurer is a tropical expedition ship – purpose designed to access remote wilderness shores in Australia and internationally, that are often inaccessible to large cruise ships.
She arrives in Freo as one of many stops on a 60-day clockwise, round Australia trip from Darwin, including 34 other destinations, many of which are hard to reach by land. She arrived from Melbourne and his here awhile for maintenance.
From 27 February she will commence her shorter cruises along the WA coast.
Then she starts a popular 60 day cruise on 25 October 2025.
What a relaxing cruise!
See you next time, Coral Adventurer!
CORRECTION TO DEPARTURE DATE: in an earlier post of this story we incorrectly advised that Coral Adventurer was departing for Broome yesterday evening. We are now informed by Coral Expeditions that she departs for Broome on 27 February as she will be undergoing planned maintenance in Fremantle.
